Sixth Murder Suspect Arrested

Windsor police have arrested a sixth suspect believed to have been involved in a homicide last October.

On October 19, 2016, police were called to an apartment on Mill St. and found a 26-year-old man severely beaten, with his hands bound, and suffering from multiple stab wounds. The man succumbed to his injuries on October 27, 2016.

During the investigation, police learned the man was lured to a parking lot on Howard Ave. and attacked by several people. He was abducted and taken to the apartment on Mill St.

Police arrested five suspects last year. On Saturday, September 9, 2017, police located the outstanding suspect, Daniel Shaw, and arrested him on Charlie Brooks Crt.

The 38-year-old from Windsor is charged with murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement.
