UPDATE: More Arrests In Mill St. Homicide

Two more people have been charged in the death of a 26-year-old man, after DNA evidence was recovered from the murder scene in Windsor.

Detectives have received information from the Centre of Forensic Science in Toronto, which has resulted in police locating and arresting Dennis Bercian and Erick Bercian.

The two 30-year-old men from Windsor now face charges of murder, forcible confinement and kidnapping.

Police say back on October 18, 2016, a 26-year-old man was lured to the rear parking lot of a Tim Horton's on Howard Ave., sometime between 8pm-9pm.  Police say an altercation took place involving a number of people and the victim was abducted in a red vehicle.

The next day, police were called to an apartment on Mill St. near Wyandotte St. W to find the man tied up, beaten, and suffering from multiple stab wounds.  He was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on October 27.

Melissa Luyten, 32, Dustin Schuh, 26, and Walter Smith, 67, were also arrested in the weeks after the victim was found. All three have been charged with murder and forcible confinement. Schuh and Luyten are also charged with kidnapping.

Police have also released that the victim was targeted in a separate incident on September 29, 2016. He was found in the area of Glengarry Ave. and Wyandotte St. E at around 2:30am, suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was hospitalized and later released, but he did not cooperate with officers.

Daniel Shaw, 38, is still wanted by the Windsor Police Service for murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement in connection to the victim's death.

Police are urging the public not to approach Shaw if he is seen.
