Tecumseh Deputy Mayor Joe Bachetti has a new job; as chair of the Essex County Library Board.
"I'm humbled and grateful that my fellow board members have placed their trust in me," said Bachetti, who will serve his first term on the board.
Bachetti, a retired school principal, was first elected to Essex County Council in 2014.
Essex Mayor Sherry Bondy will serve as vice-chair of the board.
Bondy was a librarian for 14 years and served three terms on Essex Town Council before she was elected mayor last year.
Other members include Amherstburg Deputy Mayor Chris Gibb, Lakeshore Mayor Tracey Bailey, LaSalle Councillor Sue Desjarlais, Leamington Councillor Heather Latam, and Kingsville resident Lauren Segedin.
