Shooting Suspect Arrested, Another Identified

A 20-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with Windsor's latest shooting.

Police say they made the arrest Wednesday just before 6pm.

He's facing a charge of attempted murder. Police aren't releasing his name until he appears in court, which is expected Thursday.

It's unclear at this point if this suspect is the same person who was driving the black truck and was seen pulling the victim out and leaving him on the street.

The 19-year-old victim was found on the road at the intersection of Brant St. and Louis Ave. on Tuesday.

Police haven't recovered the gun or the truck involved in the incident. However, investigators have released a surveillance photo in hopes of locating the truck (pictured above).

In a separate incident, Windsor police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in a downtown alley. Officers are currently in the process of obtaining a search warrant.

Police are trying to locate this suspect after the person allegedly shot a 30-year-old man in the leg three times. This happened Monday at around 1am in an alley between Ouellette and Pelissier.
