One of the stars of The Walking Dead will be in London this fall.
Seth Gilliam, who plays Father Gabriel Stokes on the popular TV series, has joined the celebrity line-up for London Comic Con.
Comic Con officials say they will try to get some spoilers out of Gilliam during his Q&A session at on the metroland media stage at the Western Fair District. The new season of The Walking Dead premieres a week after the three-day convention comes to the Western Fair District October 13 to 15.
Gilliam is also known for his roles as Ellis Carver on The Wire and Clayton Hughes on Oz. He has portrayed Dr. Alan Deaton on the TV show Teen Wolf since 2011.
Legendary sci-fi actor William Shatner, best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in the original Star Trek series, was previously announced as the headliner of this year’s show.
Last year, London Comic Con set a new attendance record with 10,000 comic book lovers, cosplay enthusiasts, and pop culture fans turning out in droves.
Comic con organizers are holding several pop culture events this month to help build momentum leading up to the fall convention. Pop culture events include; the Comic Book Jam at the Arts Project on Monday, Star Wars Day at Storybook Gardens on August 27, and Star Trek Trivia Night at Toboggan Brewing Co. on August 30.
