The Kent Bridge is now fully reopened to traffic, after a diesel fuel spill forced its closure in mid-September.
Motorists haven't been able to use the bridge, over the Thames River at Kent Bridge Rd., since September 15, because of damaged asphalt from the spill.
Municipal officials say crews were able to complete weatherproof sealing on the bridge deck and asphalt surface installation in time for the Thanksgiving weekend.
