A Chatham-Kent police officer charged with fraud will wait until the end of the summer for a trial date.
Sergeant Bob Mugridge has been suspended from duty with pay since July 2014 after a London police investigation asked for by Chatham-Kent police.
The more than 50 charges against Mugridge are in connection to loans from financial services and police officers. In 2015 he was paid $108,000 while serving his suspension.
The case saw a brief appearance in a Chatham courtroom Tuesday, but was pushed back. Lawyers will attempt to set a trial date on September 19, 2016.
