Rangers edge Spitfires 3-2

The Windsor Spitfires dropped a harsh 3-2 decision against the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday.

Tyler Angle scored Windsor the first goal of the game 4:13 into the first period. Kitchener scored halfway into second and Egor Afanasyev answered for the Spitfires with another goal to edge the Rangers 2-1.

By the end of the second frame, the Rangers scored again to tie things up. Kitchener scored once more 19:17 into the final period to avoid overtime.

Windsor goalie, Xavier Medina made 30 saves out of 33 shots on net.

The Spitfires will stay home to play the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
