Spitfires outplay Wolves 3-2

The Windsor Spitfires outplayed the Sudbury Wolves 3-2 on Saturday.

Egor Afanasyev scored the first goal of the game, a power-play goal 4:24 into the first period. Isaak Philips tied up the game with a power-play goal with six minutes left in the frame.

Kyle Mcdonald broke the tie 7:31 into the second period to put the Spitfires in the lead. Luke Boka extended their lead with a goal 10:31 into the frame.

Owen Robinson responded with a goal 2:00 into the third period.

Windsor goalie Xavier Medina saved 26 out of 28 shots on net.

The Spitfires will face off against the North Bay Battalion at the North Bay Memorial Gardens on Sunday.

Puck drops at 2 p.m.
