Jr. hockey wrap-up – November 28, 2018

The LaSalle Vipers edged the Strathroy Rockets 3-2 on Wednesday.

Cody Schneider, Zane Dalpe and Evan Ferguson all scored once for LaSalle.

The Vipers will travel to Komoka on Saturday to take on the Kings at 7:15 p.m.

And in Junior C hockey, Josh Pope-Ferguson led the Essex 73's to a 5-2 victory over the Wallaceburg Lakers.

Pope-Ferguson was the top scorer for Essex with a hat-trick, while Dallas Anderson and Quinn Fazekas each scored once.

Brian Gevaert and Scott Glasgow scored the two goals for Wallaceburg.

The Lakers head to Mooretown on Saturday to face the Flags at 7:30 p.m. And then on Tuesday, the 73's are back at home to play the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7 p.m.

As well, the Dresden Kings overtook the Wheatley Sharks 3-1.

TJ Saunby, Lucas Spence and Nolen Vandenboorn each scored a goal for Dresden.

Braedon Caetano scored the single goal for Wheatley.

The Kings return to Dresden on Friday to take on the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7:30 p.m. And then on December 5, the Sharks are on home ice to play the Blenheim Blades at 7:30 p.m.
