Jr. hockey wrap-up – October 19, 2018

The LaSalle Vipers fell 6-5 to the St. Thomas Stars in GOJHL action on Friday.

Abdul Abouzeeni, AJ Ryan, Spencer Paradis, Zane Dalpe and Cody Schneider each scored once for LaSalle.

The Vipers head to Komoka on Saturday to take on the Kings at 7:15 p.m.

And in the PJHL, the Lakeshore Canadiens won their fifth straight game, with a 3-1 victory over the Amherstburg Admirals.

Hunter Bailey led Lakeshore with two goals, and Ameen Fadel scored once.

Ty Moss scored the one goal for Amherstburg.

The Admirals are back at home on Sunday to battle the Petrolia Flyers at 7 p.m. And then on Monday, the Canadiens will travel to Wheatley to take on the Sharks at 7:30 p.m.

As well, the Dresden Kings topped the Wheatley Sharks 4-2 to continue a six-game win streak.

TJ Saunby, Lucas Spence, Nolen Vandenboorn and Kenny Chisholm all scored a goal for Dresden.

Dawson Iles and Parker Boyle both scored once for Wheatley.

The Sharks are back in action on Monday against the Lakeshore Canadiens. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.  And then on October 26, the Kings are in Dresden to play the Wallaceburg Lakers at 7:30 p.m.
