Trevor Letowski is taking over as head coach of the Windsor Spitfires.
The 40-year-old former NHL player spent the last two seasons as an associate coach behind Windsor's bench.
That followed six seasons coaching with the Sarnia Sting.
Letowski played more than 600 NHL games over 13 years with Phoenix, Columbus, Vancouver, and Carolina.
Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel and Letowski are expected to speak to the media Friday morning at the WFCU Centre.
