The Ayr Centennials shutout the Essex 73’s 5-0 in Game 1 of the Schmalz Cup Semi Final series on Tuesday.
Mitch Klie led Ayr with a hat trick, while Riley Clipper and Mitch Klie both scored once.
The two teams face off for Game 2 on Thursday. The puck drops at 7pm in Essex.
