The Essex 73's beat the Admirals 3-2 on Tuesday to snap Amherstburg's 11-game winning streak.
William Stadder led Essex with two goals and Adam Gaiarin scored the other.
Caleb Paquette and Dylan Muzzatti scored the two goals for Amherstburg.
The Admirals will head to Mooretown on Friday to take on the Flags 7:30pm. And then on December 27, the 73's are at home against the Petrolia Flyers at 7pm.
