The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Flint Firebirds 6-2 on Saturday in OHL action.
The Spitfires held a 2-0 lead going into the second period and extended it tow 4-1 going into the third. The Firebirds added one at the beginning of the final period, but Windsor responded with two more unanswered goals for the win.
Aaron Luchuk led the Spits with two goals, while Brendan Lemieux, Hayden McCool, Cole Carter and Bradley Latour each scored one.
The Spitfires will face off against the Saginaw Spirit at 2:05pm on Sunday.
