A Chance To End Positively

Windsor's playoff push may be over, but the Spitfires are still playing with something to prove.

With just three regular season games remaining, Assistant Coach Bob Jones says it's a chance for players to leave a lasting impression. "We have some decisions to make on 19-year-old guys coming back as overage. It's important that these guys come to the rink and play hard. And obviously, we have three pretty tough opponents (this weekend)."

Jones is optimistic about the future of the Spitfires, as they had the second-youngest team in the OHL this season, and he expects all of their defencemen, and nearly every one of their forwards, to return in the fall.

Windsor hosts Connor McDavid and the Erie Otters tonight, before hitting the road in Sarnia and Sault Ste. Marie this weekend.
