Flyers Coach Expects Tight Series

The head coach of the Leamington Flyers calls the team's matchup against the London Nationals a one-game series.

The Flyers are in London tonight facing what Tony Piroski agrees could be Leamington's greatest threat this season. The Nationals lead the second round series 2-1. "We've been on top for most of the year, rolled through the first series and then, boom, boom. We're behind two-nothing and we can't seem to score any goals."

Piroski admits his players felt discouraged after Game 2, but they've been playing well. "We've squandered a lot of good chances and we've hit eight posts. They haven't hit any," he says. "We've really been snake bit."

Game 4 in London starts at 7:30pm. The Flyers will host Game 5 Thursday at 7:10pm.
