The NBL Canada is in no hurry to find a new commissioner.
Former commissioner Paul Riley posted his letter of resignation on Twitter last week.
Windsor Express CEO Dartis Willis says the owners remain positive about the state of the league, and have no time line for when they might make a new hire. "We're going to make sure we do our homework and due diligence, and make sure that we select someone who can share the dream of professional basketball, but have the patience to make that happen."
Willis says the NBLC board of directors will share all of the commissioner's duties for the time being, just as they did during the inception of the league.
