The Windsor Spitfires weren’t able to get ahead during Saturday’s game, losing 7-4 to the Barrie Colts.

The Colts scored their first goal around the three minute mark of the first period to take a lead that would last the entire game. The Spits made one goal in each of the first two periods and then two in the third, but it wasn’t enough to catch up to the Colts.

Barrie also out shot Windsor 35-28.

Cristiano DiGiacinto, Ryan Foss, Graeme Brown and Trevor Murphy each scored one goal for the Spits.

The Spitfires are back on the ice on Sunday to take on the Owen Sound Attack at 2pm.
