A Windsor roofing company is looking for nominees for a new initiative for homeowners who need a new roof but can't afford one.
Dayus Roofing has partnered with GAF Roofing Roof Rescue to provide a homeowner in need with a roof.
The initiative launched on Friday and will accept nominations starting Saturday until the end of April. Dayus Roofing will announce the finalists on May 31, and the community will vote for the winner.
"Homeowners can nominate themselves or someone they know by filling out a nomination form," said a release from Dayus Roofing. "They can also visit our booth at the Windsor Home and Garden Show between March 31 and April 2 to nominate someone in need."
The nomination form is on Dayus Roofing's website.
"We're proud to be able to give back to the community that has supported us for over a century," said Frank Dayus IV, the owner of Dayus Roofing. "We understand the importance of community and taking care of our neighbours. We hope this initiative will help someone in need and make a positive impact on the community."
