Savard looking to continue success against the Rangers

The Windsor Spitfires take on the Kitchener Rangers in the first round of the OHL playoffs.

"We've had success against them in the regular season. They are a very offensive team, they have some highly skilled players. We're just going to have to play good defensively and be really good throughout the neutral zone," said Head Coach Marc Savard.

Windsor finished the regular season with a 44-18-4-2 record, earning them the top spot in the Western Conference.

"I don't think there's a lot of change. We're going to watch their video, we've been watching it so we've been touching on different areas of the game moving into Thursday night," said Savard.

The puck drops at 7:05 Thursday at the W.F.C.U Centre.

"I think if we come to play each and every night we'll get the results we're looking for," said Savard.
