Hydro crews were kept busy on Saturday as the windy weather caused some damage in Windsor-Essex.
Windsor police said Front Road was completely closed between Texas Road and Grant Avenue in Amherstburg for several hours while repairs were made to damaged hydro poles.
Front Road was initially reduced to one lane for about an hour before the full closure came into effect, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
Motorists were advised by police to avoid the area.
Hydro One's outage map showed a few small power outages across the region, with estimated restoration times ranging from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
