Police issue warning after series of "random attacks" in east Windsor

A group of young people is being sought by Windsor police after a string of crimes in Forest Glade.

Police believe the crew is responsible for an assault that happened near Forest Glade Drive and Lauzon Road, stealing an iPhone, and "randomly spraying a toxic substance on two youths."

A statement from Windsor police suggests that all of the incidents took place in the area of the Hawthorne skate park. To be specific, from the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Lauzon Parkway to Hawthorne Drive and Lauzon Road.

Members of the community are urged to take caution when in the neighbourhood. Additional officers will patrol the area until further notice.

"The public is asked to check your video surveillance for any evidence to these crimes or any suspicious behaviour," said a Tweet from Windsor Police.

Police say the group was dressed in all black and wearing masks when these offenses were committed. Authorities have not confirmed the date or time these incidents took place. It's also unclear how many people are in the group.
