Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre opens new locations

If you have a small business or are thinking of starting one up, getting assistance should be easier in Windsor-Essex.

The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre is extending its hours, and opening new locations to help grow local businesses.

The centre offers entrepreneurs a full range of services including business plan support, research assistance, development workshops, networking opportunities, advice, and information on government supports.

Hours at the office on Chatham Street West in Downtown Windsor are being extended to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

It’s satellite office in Essex opens on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

New locations are opening at 111 Erie Street North in Leamington and at the Windsor Public Library John Muir Branch on Mill Street in Windsor.

The office at the John Muir Library Branch will open the first Tuesday of every month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., while the Leamington branch is open on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Virtual consultations are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The centre said it opened the branches in those locations to ensure access to business leaders across Essex County.
