Mother of missing girl makes plea to find daughter

The mother of a missing 19-year-old woman is pleading with the public for information about her daughter's location.

Gabrielle Marie Vinall has not been seen or heard from since January 6. She was reported missing on January 13, after missing multiple meetings with her outreach worker.

"This is every parent's worst nightmare. So, please, if there is anything that you're aware of that could help to bring my daughter home safely, please contact the police immediately," said Andrea North, Vinall's mother.

Vinall is known to frequent the downtown area. She has a transient lifestyle and was last seen in the area of Glengarry Avenue.

"Gabbi is the light of my life. She is very much loved by all of her friends and family and everyone who's had the pleasure of knowing her over time and we all want more than anything to have her come home," said North.

There has been no social media or financial activity since the time of her disappearance.

Investigators indicated they have received very few tips to date.

"That's why it leads us to believe that she's no longer in the city because if she was in the city, she is well known to the downtown service providers and our community partners and she hasn't accessed those partners so that's why we believe she may be out of the city," said Staff Sergeant Ted Novak.

Vinall is a 5’7” white woman with a thin build, hazel eyes, and shoulder-length reddish-brown hair. She is known to change her appearance.
