The Consortium that provides school bus transportation to thousands of elementary and secondary schools students in Windsor-Essex has cancelled services.
Windsor-Essex is under a snowfall warning and Environment Canada anticipates up to 15 cm of snow on Wednesday.
As of 5:30 a.m., Buskids.ca said school buses in the City of Windsor and the County of Essex were cancelled.
Both the Greater Essex County District School Board and the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board say schools are open.
Secondary school students who have exams on Wednesday will have an extra day to study. Exams have been pushed back one day.
