Warrant leads to drug arrest in Kingsville

Two Kingsville residents have been charged after a drug investigation led to a raid Friday.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)’s Essex County Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Canine Services, executed a warrant in Kingsville. During the raid, officers seized suspected cocaine and Canadian cash, with a total value of $20,900.
Two people, a 46-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, were arrested and charged with cocaine possession with intent to sell.
The pair were released and will have a chance to defend themselves against the charges at a Windsor court on a later date.
