Search on for suspects in West Windsor home invasion

Police in Windsor hope the public can help track down three suspects after a home invasion in the west end.

The suspects, one with a gun, forced their way into a home on McEwan Avenue, between University Avenue East and Martindale Street, on Wednesday afternoon.

Three suspects armed with guns forced their way inside the house, tied up a woman, and assaulted a man.

The woman wasn't hurt, and the man's injuries were minor.

Investigators believe the trio eventually left without taking anything.

The first suspect is a man of Middle Eastern descent between 40 and 50-years-old. He had buzzed, salt-and-pepper hair and a scruffy beard.

At the time, he wore a black baseball hat, beige coat, flue jeans and black NIKE running shoes. He may have also been wearing a bulletproof vest.

The second suspect was black and about 20-years-old. He was 5'4" with brown eyes, and wore a black ski mask, black NIKE zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black pants and boots, and was carrying a small camouflage duffle bag.

The third suspect was 5'6" and thin. His clothing was black, and he had a black handgun.

Police ask anyone living in the area to check their security cameras or dashcams for footage that may help investigators.

Those with information can call the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or post a tip at www.catchcrooks.com.
