Just days after a visit from the Prime Minister, other high-profile politicians are in the region on Thursday.
Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Sylvia Jones are expected to make a big announcement at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Not long after they do, soon-to-be Ontario NDP leader Marit Stiles will respond to the announcement outside Windsor Region's Ouellette Campus.
Stiles arrived in Windsor on Wednesday night and attended a meet-and-greet at Unifor Local 195.
The event was attended by a number of union and other officials including former NDP MPP Percy Hatfield, former Essex MPP Taras Natyshak, former Essex MP Tracey Ramsey, and Windsor city councillors Mark McKenzie and Renaldo Agostino.
On Thursday morning, Stiles will travel to Leamington to meet with leaders from the Caldwell First Nation at the siste of the First Nation's new gas station on Mersea Road 1.
More to come.
