Reidel retiring after 40 year career

Helga Reidel's time as president and CEO at Enwin Utilities is winding down.

Reidel is retiring from the corporation at the end of the year. She's been in the role since 2016 when she stepped away from the CAO position with the City of Windsor. Prior to joining the staff at the City of Windsor, Reidel worked for the public school board.

"I'm still so thrilled to have been able to have my career in the Windsor-Essex community. I was so fortunate and I've loved all of my employers," said Reidel.

Garry Rossi takes over the top post from Reidel on January 1, 2023.

"It's a little bit bitter-sweet I guess. I am looking forward to spending time with family and grandchildren and a number of other activities that I am involved in," said Reidel.

One of those activities will be to serve on the Board of Directors of the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority. She was named as a new member in early December.
