The S'Aints Sleighing Hunger concert returns to the Colosseum

The S'Aints band is back on the Colosseum stage this December to "sleigh hunger" in the Windsor Essex and Chatham-Kent communities.

After a three-year hiatus, the Christmas fundraising concert will once again raise funds for the Windsor-Essex Food Bank Association and Chatham Outreach for Hunger.

"We've got new songs, we're really excited, we're rejuvenated, this is what it's all about for us," said band member Jody Raffoul.

With the help of Caesars Windsor and St. Clair College, 100% of ticket sale proceeds will go back to the community.

"If you can give back, please think of the people this Christmas season that need you the most. We have never seen the need like we are seeing today. People are lined up, we're trying to help those people who are lined up while keeping food on our shelves and it's been a challenge," said Muir.

Since 2013, the local musicians have raised over $340,000 for local food banks.

The concert is on December 23, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for the family all ages show.

"You're going to hear Christmas songs done in a rock 'n roll kind of way and they are going to hear a lot of good peace songs," Raffoul.
