Bright Lights honours Queen Elizabeth

The City of Windsor is inviting residents to "take it all in" at this year's Bright Lights Windsor festival starting December 2.

The opening ceremonies for the event will take place at 6:30 p.m. December 2.

“Bright Lights Windsor is back, and we’re inviting everyone to ‘take it all in’ at Jackson Park’s incredible wonderland. From the Holiday Train and Enchanted Children’s Village to Santa’s Workshop and the new Royal Promenade honouring the late Queen Elizabeth II, there’s something for everyone. I’m proud of this festival and all it offers our community," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens.

The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 8, 2022. Every Tuesday, the festival will offer a sensory-friendly night where the sound will be muted, and the strobe elements will be paused.

The WE Made It: Holiday market returns to the festival this year and will operate on Friday and Saturday nights.
