If it's spooky weather you're looking for, Environment Canada is calling for all the conditions that fit in with Monday evening's Halloween celebrations.
Meteorologist Steven Flisfeder says all of Southwestern Ontario can expect warmer-than-normal temperatures.
"Especially for this time of year," said Flisfeder. "All of Southwestern Ontario would be seeing average lows of 3 to 5 C, so very warm compared to what we would be expecting."
The agency predicts overnight lows of 12 C in Windsor, London, Chatham, and Sarnia. It'll be 16 or 17 C when the kids first head out.
While trick-or-treaters might not have to worry about it being too cold, they may get a little wet.
"There's not going to be a lot of rain. It's going to be more drizzly," Flisfeder explained. "A constant mist in the air. There could be some stronger rainfalls here and there -- very moist when the kids are out trick-or-treating."
The entire region can expect fog this evening. London and Wingham can expect a thick blanket of it, but fog patches are more likely in Windsor, Chatham, and Sarnia.
For drivers, that will present visibility problems. The Ontario Provincial Police urges drivers to slow down, especially on residential streets where the kids may be going from house to house.
The fog will make it all the more critical trick-or-treaters are visible. The OPP also recommends children wear costumes that are brightly coloured. Parents should consider attaching reflective tape to their child's outfit if that isn't possible.
