Windsor police strategic plan up for public input

Windsor police are asking residents for help in putting together its operational outlook for the next few years.

The service is working on its 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. Part of the process is gauging public opinion on what Windsor police's priorities should be during that time frame.

"The 2023-2026 Strategic Plan will outline our overall direction and commitments to our community and employees, and position our organization for greater success as we continue to serve and protect the people of Windsor and Amherstburg," read a media release.

One-on-one, public consultations are being scheduled for each of the city's ten wards, with each ward's councillor scheduled to be on hand to help facilitate the sessions.
