Fifth suspect in social media beatings apprehended

Windsor police say they have arrested all of the suspects identified so far in videos posted to social media of a pair of assaults last week.

The attacks occurred between 4:15 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, in the downtown core. In each instance, a single male was robbed and beaten. Each assault was recorded and posted online.

Two adults and two youths were previously arrested in connection with this case, according to Constable Bianca Jackson. All of the suspects are charged with robbery and aggravated assault.
