No additional details have been released, and neither side has provided any information on the terms.

The U of W campus police force is an autonomous service, where its special constables are appointed with the authority of the Windsor Police Services Board. Campus officers have the authority to perform arrests, investigate crime on campus, use reasonable force if it becomes necessary, and present evidence in court.

The current director is Matthew D'Asti, a retired sergeant and former public information officer for Windsor police.

The union said ratification details are forthcoming.
