Museum Windsor has opened a new temporary exhibit that tells the tale of the area's 2SLGBTQIA+ history.
Out of the Shadows, On to the Streets: 180 years of 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility in Windsor-Essex is a collaboration between Museum Windsor, Art Windsor-Essex, The Windsor Essex Rainbow Alliance, and local artist Rachel Pieters.
It features a timeline of 2SLGBTQIA+ milestones in Windsor-Essex, by Walter Cassidy, which recognizes local stories, struggles, and triumphs and original works of art by Pieters.
The exhibit is on display until September 4, 2022 at the Chimczuk Museum.
