Essex County OPP say they arrested three drivers over the weekend with alcohol-related offences.
On Friday, May 20 at 6:11 p.m., officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle striking a road sign on Tecumseh Road in Tecumseh.
As a result, a 62-year-old man from Lakeshore was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood-alcohol level of 80 over the legal limit.
On Saturday, May 21 at 10:52 p.m., Lakeshore OPP, Lakeshore Fire and Rescue, and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services responded to a single-vehicle collision on County Road 42 in Lakeshore.

On Sunday, May 22 at 4:22 a.m., Leamington OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Oak Street West in Leamington.

All of the accused are scheduled to appear in court. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a 7-day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute to the accused.
Provincial police will continue to be on patrol this long weekend for the annual Canada Road Safety Week campaign.
