COVID-19 shots available at Leamington Municipal Building

Starting on Monday, those who need a first, second, third, or fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can get it at the Leamington Municipal Building.

Over the next two weeks, the Community Response and Stabilization Team will host clinics there.

Appointments are unnecessary.

Anyone can get their first, second, or third shot between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, between April 11 and 22.

The province expanded eligibility last week to those who are over the age of 60, are Indigenous or has someone in their household who is Indigenous.

Vaccines are also available at participating pharmacies and primary care offices.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit continues to offer vaccines at its Leamington office. Those are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

It will also open at its Windsor office on Ouellette Avenue on Monday morning. Those who go need to make an appointment by calling 519-258-2146 ext. 4500 or by visiting WEvax.ca.
