Health Canada warns about another hand santizer

Throughout the pandemic, Health Canada has issued warnings about many hand sanitizers that may pose a health risk.

It added a new one to the list on Tuesday, Sani-Derm.

The agency said it might contain ethyl acetate, which can cause skin irritation, dryness, and cracking.

Laboratoires Choisey, which makes the hand sanitizer, voluntarily recalled the product.

Recalled lots have expiry dates of January 2022, February 2022, March 2022, April 2022.

Since March 2020, Health Canada has recalled seven different hand sanitizers that contained ethyl acetate.
