Police looking for robbery suspect

The Windsor Police Service is looking to identify a suspect involved in the robbery of a convenience store.

Around 5 a.m. Thursday a male suspected entered a convenience store on Seminole Street and threatened the store clerk with a weapon.

The suspect stole merchandise before he took off on foot westbound on Seminole.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Police are looking for a man about 5'7" tall who was wearing dark clothes and gloves at the time of the robbery.  The suspect can be seen in surveillance video below.

The Major Crime Unit is actively investigating. Anyone in the area of Seminole Street and Pillette Road with video surveillance is asked to check their footage for any possible evidence.
