GoFundMe launched for family of boy killed in fatal Lakeshore crash

An online fundraising campaign has been launched to benefit the loved ones of a young boy who was killed in a crash in Lakeshore this week.

The campaign launched by family friend Allysha Adamo aims to raise funds to help cover expenses for the family of two-year-old Ethan Spada, who was reportedly a passenger in a fatal collision at the intersection of County Road 42 and Renaud Line on Wednesday, November 10.

"Ethan was a big-hearted baby boy with an even bigger smile that lit up any room he walked into if his beautiful blue eyes didn’t melt your heart first," Adamo wrote.

Adamo said donations will be directed to the family to help with funeral and memorial costs.

As of Saturday, more than $92,000 has been generated.

In relation to the crash, a 55-year-old driver from Lakeshore has been charged with impaired driving of a vehicle causing death, and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death. The charges have not been proven in court.

Anyone who saw the collision can call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be left online at www.catchcrooks.com.
