UPDATE: Starbucks, arena identified as possible COVID-19 exposure points

There are two new potential COVID-19 exposure points in Windsor-Essex.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit reported Monday morning on possible exposure to the virus at the Starbucks on Commercial Boulevard.

Anybody who visited the location on Wednesday, November 3, between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., is asked to self-monitor for symptoms for two weeks from the date of exposure.

Late Monday afternoon, the health unit added Forest Glade Arena in Windsor to the list of active exposure sites. If you visited the arena on Monday, November 1, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., you should also watch for any symptoms.

The health unit said that the likelihood of exposure is low, but if you feel ill, get a COVID-19 test immediately, self-isolate, and contact your health care provider for further instructions.

These two new sites brought the active total number of locations to five. Those locations are the Blanche Restaurant and Lounge in Windsor, the Provincial Chrysler dealership in Windsor, and Transit Windsor.

Complete information on all active points can be found on the health unit's official website.
