Vollmer makes changes as vaccine passports come into wider use

Now that the Ontario government has lifted capacity limits at most places that require a vaccine passport, the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex in LaSalle is making adjustments.

Starting on Monday, November 8, activities including aqua fitness, adult skate, group exercise classes, and access to the fitness centre will no longer have public health-related capacity limits. There will also be no limit for those going to the leisure swim in the lanes or the lazy river or using the hot tub.

As of this past Monday, pre-registration for those programs was no longer required.

Capacity limits may still apply to control crowding, and programs are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Participants still need to pre-register for other activities, including the open swim, leisure swim in the shallow pool, parent and tot skating, and recreational skating.

Those over the age of 12 who go to the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex will still need to prove they have been fully vaccinated.

Staff have QR code scanners for those who have downloaded the app.
