Health unit identifies two possible COVID-19 exposure points

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has added a pair of places that were identified as potential exposure points for COVID-19.

The health unit has added Meadow Brook Church in Leamington and Provincial Chrysler in Windsor to its list of possible exposure locations.

If you attended Meadow Brook Church on Sunday, October 24, for either the 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. services, you should self-monitor for symptoms for two weeks from the date of exposure. The same applies to anyone who visited the service department at Provincial Chrysler between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday.

While the risk of exposure is low, the health unit has said that if anyone feels ill or has symptoms, they should get a COVID-19 test immediately, then contact their health care provider for further instructions.

There are currently four active exposure points in Windsor-Essex. The others are Tequila Bob's in Windsor, and Blanche Restaurant and Lounge in Windsor, with both having exposure dates of Saturday, October 23.
