UPDATE: Police seek vehicles of interest in fatal hit-and-run (PHOTOS)

UPDATE as of 8:30 p.m. October 20, 2021: Windsor police release new images of vehicle possibly involved in fatal hit-and-run incident.

Windsor police are asking for help in identifying two vehicles related to the investigation of a collision that led to the death of a pedestrian. 

It happened at around 7 a.m. Friday in the area of Janette Avenue between Elliott Street West and Bruce Avenue. Officers found a 70-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.  He was taken to hospital, where he later passed away.

Investigators have asked the public to look at two images, each showing a vehicle near where the incident took place. The vehicle shown on the left was described as a dark-coloured SUV, possibly a Jeep. The one shown on the right appears to be a dark-coloured compact SUV.

If you own one of the vehicles, police would like to speak to you.
