Tony Haddad, former CAO for the Town of Tecumseh has been appointed as the Interim CAO for Amherstburg.

Haddad worked for the Town of Tecumseh from 2007 until 2019 when he retired.

“Tony’s extensive experience across a broad range of municipal administration, combined with his proven leadership will bode well in moving Amherstburg forward,” said Amherstburg Mayor Aldo DiCarlo.

The Town of Amherstburg has been experiencing a number of staffing challenges since August when John Miceli left the role as CAO at the the same time as a number of other senior staff members.

Town Solicitor Susan Hirota took over the duties for a short while before taking on role at the Town of Kingsville.

Haddad has taken a leave of absence from his role as Senior Advisor with StrategyCorp, a trusted public affairs, communications, and management consulting advisory firm to assist the town during this interim period.
