Suspect sought in Monday night robbery

Windsor police are hoping someone can identify a suspect wanted in connection with a convenience store holdup Monday night.

It happened around 11 p.m. at the business on Seminole Street near Arthur Road. Officers responded to a call about a robbery that had just taken place.

Police learned that the suspect had entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The man took an unspecified amount of cash and was last seen fleeing west on Seminole Street. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a White male, 6', 200 pounds, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt under a dark-coloured basketball jersey and appeared to walk with a limp.

Investigators have released a photo of the suspect and a video, seen below, taken from the store's security camera system.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked not to approach him directly as he is considered armed and dangerous.
