Windsor OLG players come up big in two six-figure wins

Big lottery wins gave three Windsor residents at least 100,000 reasons to smile.

Following two separate lottery wins, the lucky OLG players picked up cheques of at least $100,000 after playing scratch-off games. Denis and Dianne Trepanier won $150,000 playing The Bigger Spin, while Michele Lussier collected $100,000 for Instant Crossword Tripler.

The Trepaniers got a "Spin" prize on their ticket. After going to a local retailer to "spin" for their prize, they got the maximum of $150,000 under the "Spin" category.

The couple picked up their winning ticket at the Busy Bee Convenience Store on Tecumseh Road in Windsor, according to the OLG.

Lussier, meanwhile, connected the maximum amount of words on her crossword scratch-off to win that game's top $100,000 prize.

The $5 per play ticket was purchased at a 7-11 on Tecumseh Road West in Windsor.

OLG continues to book prize collections at its Toronto prize centre by appointment due to COVID-19 control guidelines, and then, only for those requiring a face-to-face interview. To get the latest information on how to claim a prize, visit the official OLG website.
