Suspect photo released in Civic Holiday holdup

Windsor police have released additional details on a suspect connected to a west-end robbery on the Civic Holiday.

Officers were called shortly after 4 a.m. Monday to a convenience store on Huron Church Road near Northwood Street for a robbery that had just taken place. Someone entered the business with a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Police have released images taken from the store's security camera system and are asking the public to take a look.

The suspect is described as a White male in his 30s, 5′ 11″ to 6′ in height, with a larger build. He was wearing a black sweater, shorts, black shoes, a black baseball cap, and a black bandana over his face. The man also had a red and black drawstring back, a possible cut under his right eye, and a green and reddish-orange tattoo on his left forearm.
